Please note: I am not accepting new clients until January 2021. My practice Craig Counseling is located in Charlotte, NC.
I live by the philosophy that the opportunities are endless. This is how I position my work with clients. If I can instill that hope within my clients, then the hard part is already done.
My counseling style is simple, yet powerful. I meet my clients exactly where they are, in a judgment-free zone. We identify what isn’t working and set goals to identify what ‘working’ looks like. We explore habits, triggers and any barriers stopping them from getting to where they want to be. Unlike other counselors, I am action-oriented. We will talk, but you will work in and outside of session.
Rarely does change come without action.
I give you the tools and I hold you accountable to using them. I use cognitive behavioral therapy with most clients, as well as the existential approach to counseling. This means that I look at the relationship between your thoughts, feelings and behaviors, while exploring your value system and purpose.
I am trained in distance counseling, which means that we can meet online for counseling/coaching sessions. Being relevant on the times, I assist my clients in healing considering the pressures and norms in today’s society.
Presently, I do not work with couples or children.
Individual counseling sessions are $150 self-pay and 55-minutes.
I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans (BCBS) and Carolina Behavioral Health Alliance (CBHA). I am considered out of network with all other plans, however I can provide a superbill to submit towards your out of network benefits.
